An Open Concept Kitchen
The foundation of any great kitchen lies in its layout. With spacious pathways and ample countertop space, this open kitchen design aims to enhance the flow of movement and interaction. We completely reconfigured the space by removing walls that once separated the living area, dining room, and kitchen. The new open concept combines three rooms into one large, seamless, entertaining space that overlooks the family’s waterfront view of beautiful Lake Cheehaw and the Flint River.
The Heart of the Kitchen: A Central Island
A standout feature of this open kitchen is the massive central island, which exudes functionality and style. This versatile workspace serves as the epicenter of activity, providing ample room for prep work, cooking, and even casual dining. Crafted with a stunning blend of durable materials and a chic aesthetic, the island becomes a focal point, inviting guests to gather around in anticipation of culinary wonders.
The Ruvati Dual-Tier Workstation Sink
Installed in the central kitchen island, the Ruvati Dual-Tier workstation sink takes functionality to a whole new level. The dual-tier ledge features two tiers of tracks on top of one another that allow for more workstation accessories. Along with the classic cutting board and patented foldable drying rack combination, the sink includes a 3-bowl mixing tray and mixing bowl/colander set with a hardwood platform. With its substantial size and an abundance of built-in accessories, the Dual-Tier sink with double faucets truly redefines functionality in this kitchen space.
State-of-the-Art Appliances
No culinary dream would be complete without the perfect appliances to bring recipes to life. This new kitchen incorporates top-of-the-line, energy-efficient appliances, ensuring that every cooking endeavor is a delightful experience. From the flush-mounted Wolf induction cooktop and double ovens to the classic French door professional refrigerator, functionality and style are in every detail of this kitchen.
Custom Cabinetry & Storage Solutions
To maintain a clutter-free environment, we strategically placed ample cabinets, drawers, and open shelving throughout the kitchen. Our designers understand that organization is key, whether it be pots and pans, cleaning supplies, or your favorite adult mixers. With our Pool Brothers custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry and customizable storage options, everything has a designated place, giving this beautiful new kitchen a clean and inviting ambiance.
Light Wood Flooring and Lighting
When designing this open kitchen, we kept illumination and ambiance at the forefront of our minds. Natural light is invited through large windows, creating a warm and inviting space during the day. For evenings and dinner parties, we've incorporated a combination of pendant light fixtures, can ceiling lights, and under-cabinet lighting that allow hosts to set the perfect mood. From bright task lighting for precise cooking to soft, dimmed lights for intimate gatherings, our design caters to every occasion.
