Kitchen Remodel 12

We never grow tired of the jaw-dropping transformations that take place in our client’s homes!

While some changes are dramatic and quite obvious, many more are found in the finer detail and subtleties of the kitchen remodel. We invite you to scroll through these photos, compare before and after, and see what details and nuance you are able spot in this redesign.

After the remodel…

First, we opened up this space by removing the countertop sitting area that extended from the wall into the center of the kitchen, and we took down a dividing wall between the kitchen and an adjacent living area.

This made for a bigger, brighter kitchen, while also creating enough room for the very large, naval colored island you see above. The island creates contrast with the new, tundra colored cabinets that fully extend to the ceiling. The white ice granite countertops have hints of blue in the stone, which superbly tie the cabinets and newly painted neutral grey walls together.

The cabinet hardware throughout the kitchen has a champagne bronze finish, contrasting nicely with the all-new stainless steel appliances and award-winning Kohler Prolific stainless steel sink.

In the photograph below you can see where we’ve removed the dividing wall that used to separate the kitchen from the living area, creating a large, warm and inviting area for friends and family to gather.

Furthermore, this client is ready to entertain guests on holidays and other special occasions with a custom dry bar and built in wine rack.

In addition to adding new can lights in the ceiling, we accented the island with 3 pendant lights from Acclaim. The sink got its own pendant light as well, which has become extremely popular.

Over the stove is a new range hood which matches perfectly with the new cabinetry. The two photos below also give you a good look at the contemporary subway tile backsplash by Bedrosians, and the new 24 x 24 floor tile set at the diagonal.
