Bath Remodel 9
It is amazing how dramatically a space can be transformed, even in a smaller and more simple room like a bathroom!
This client’s bathroom remodel was no exception. Take some time to look closely at the before and after photos to appreciate just how much the feel of this room changed!
Before the remodel…
After the remodel…
The color scheme changed dramatically, the walls changing to the color “drifted mist” and the cabinetry to “unusual gray”. This new color scheme is illuminated by three new 3-light vanities and can lights in the ceiling. Even with the decreased size of the bathroom window, the space is much brighter and more inviting.
The new floor plan also impacted the feel of the space. The original shower was replaced by a seated vanity with a “avalanche white” marble countertop and big framed mirror, and the old tub was transformed into a gorgeous new shower.
Notice the new flooring. It’s Stone Peak ceramic 12” by 24” porcelain tiles and patterned on the diagonal herringbone. The color, “Calcutta Ora” pairs very nicely with the stunning avalanche white marble countertops.
Inside the shower you’ll see the same tiles as on the bathroom floor, however, the wall tile is set vertically. The wall with the plumbing fixtures has been done as an accent wall with a basket weave mosaic, and the shower floor is a 2” by 2” mosaic.
The highlights in the flooring and countertops subtly compliment the polished nickel hardware and his-and-her framed vanity mirrors, bringing out rich golden hues in this color scheme.
Take a closer look at the fine detail in the shower photos below, and notice the practicality of the roll-out drawer in the seated vanity.
As we so often strive for at Pool Brothers, the end result is a bathroom that is absolutely beautiful, while maximizing the use the space in the most practical way possible!
