Bath Remodel 10

This client’s master bathroom remodel was a dramatic change, to say the least. If you look closely, you’ll notice some similarities in the floor plan — but that’s where the similarities end!

With lots of fine detail in this design, you’ll want to take some time to look very closely at all these photographs!

Before the remodel…

There was a time when the design above was in style … but not so much anymore. This client was ready for something fresh and new, and they got it!

After the remodel…

What a transformation!

The old wallpaper has been replaced with Classic Gray painted walls by Benjamin Moore. This contrasts nicely with the Polar White cabinets by Shiloh, while still maintaining a fresh, vibrant, and wide-open feel in the space.

Look closely and you’ll see the cabinets have a Windsor style door with a beaded inset. This gives the doors a multi-tiered silhouette that creates a play of light and shadow, adding depth and dimension to the cabinetry.

Notice the big, beautiful 24 by 24 inch marble attache flooring from Daletile. We also used that same tile in the shower with a 12 by 24 brick-joint pattern. Then we finished the shower floor with an intricate basket weave floor tile mosaic.

In the shower, and throughout the bathroom, the plumbing fixtures are Delta Cassidy in a polished nickel finish that pairs with the polished nickel cabinetry hardware.

As you can see from the before and after pictures, the bathroom is much brighter now. Not only a result of the color changes, this is also due to the installation of new can lights in the ceiling, new wall sconces, and the stylish toe kick lighting at the base of the cabinets.

You’ll also notice lighting inside the linen closet — yet another finishing touch we’re particularly pleased with.

The mirrors are finished with a beveled edge, and the new countertops are a subtle, but luxurious, Bianco Olinda Quartzite.
